Literature Text

Are you my Angel
Or are you my Devil?
You hurt me so bad,
Yet you make me smile so much.

These wounds you cause me,
Are laced with honey.
How can you be my poison,
And my medicine?

Your words are sweet,
So light and kind,
Like bubbles in sunlight,
Rays of rainbows bouncing off.

Yet your eyes are as hard as stone,
And as cold as ice.
Your body language,
Like that of a stranger.

Your cryptic words,
Your hushed sentences,
Behind closed words.
I do,
And don't,
Trust you.

What to do?
Do i believe in the dark in you,
Or the light.
I have to ask.
Are you my,

Angel or my Devil?
For a weekly prompt thing.

I love the concept a lot.

The comparison is well don with the use of expressions. You were able to keep a balance between the attributes of the angel and that of the devil which is quite a feat in itself.

Then the expressions used are really good as well; they are not exaggerating and give a clear impression of what you are fully implying.

The start and the end both are well handled with a story like procession with a slow build and a satisfying ending.

The only thing that disappoints me is that I have seen the title in MANY places. i will of course deduct minimum points in originality since I think it was a prompt or challenge; I dunno.
